FP1 ended with the Ferrari duo landing in 1st and 2nd position, with the Mercedes 1.5 seconds back in 15th and 16th position. Our guess is Lewis and Nico were both working on full fuel runs and were watching the tire wear, which caught them out in similar temperatures...
